Are there any stats being sent?

Last Updated: Sep 16, 2014 03:22PM PDT

Yes.  We are reporting stats so we can improve the user experience for all our users but we are bucketizing the stats using logarithmic filters.  Basically we don’t know the exact stats for any individual user (in order to prevent potentially knowing the metadata) but we get a general idea about usage patterns.

We never send sensitive information and we want our users to be able to verify it too. That’s why we send this information in plain text (with no encryption) so you can check for yourself.
